Our Families (and loved pets!)

Our roots go deep on the west coast, in both the forests of Oregon and the shores of Santa Barbara. Both our families have given us their full support in adopting a child and are very excited to see what the future holds. In total, a child in our family would have 2 great-grandmothers, 3 grandmas, 3 grandpas, 6 aunts and uncles, and 7 cousins. Whether it's picking berries at Rolf's family farm in Oregon, or playing in the mild evenings of Cindy's family home in Santa Barbara, we get to spend wonderful time with all of them.

In our family already are our two lovable dogs, Henry and Ella. Both dogs are from a pet rescue and are now well-trained (and well-loved) and spend most of their time chasing balls, chewing sticks, or just lounging in the sun. Around bed time, they love to snuggle under the covers and cuddle as much as they can. We have also recently added two kittens to the mix - Butch and Sundance. They were rescued from a kill-shelter, and they are rapdily making themselves an indispensible part of our family.
